Carlos Gomez – Arizona Diamonbacks Director of International Scouting
Simply put, Jeff “gets it”. Jeff is second to none when it comes down to evaluating and teaching the mechanics of a high-level Major League swing. He has been instrumental in teaching and showing me what a high-level swing is supposed to look like. In my position as International Scouting Director, I see thousands of prospects and thousands of swings. Without Jeff, I wouldn’t be able to recognize what to really look for and what players and movement patterns to really key in on.
Not only that, but Jeff’s experience as a player and coach allows him to know (and teach) the mental aspects of hitting. On top of that, Jeff is able to also integrate objective measures (advanced statistics, advanced equipment, heavy use of video) so that not only do you feel like you’re improving, but you can also see the improvement objectively.
I owe a LOT of my success to Jeff and can comfortably say that I wouldn’t be where I am today had it not been for him and what he has taught me

Coming off a sub par season, filled with injuries, I knew going into my training that I needed to focus on my hitting… Well, my prayers were answered when I met Jeff Albert. He enlightened me to bat speed specific training.
I had always been a hard worker, but at times because of situations I had to be creative to achieve what I wanted. Jeff had a plan, a system, and creativity that I needed. After weeks of tough training, I was armed with a swing that produced line drives that I saw in my dreams for years. Most importantly, I was extremely confident because of all the hours of training and quality of work I gained with the aid of Jeff.

- Chris Swauger – AA
From Future Redbirds interview:
Jeff was the best hitting coach I have ever worked with for many reasons. He knew what he was talking about, having been a player and a background in bio-mechanics. But more than that, he took the time to learn my swing and work with me on improving it. Every day we would go to the cage and work to get my swing going for the game that night. He helped me with my approach to hitting and as we made adjustments my swing and production got better. I give him the credit for making me the hitter I am because I learned more from him than from any other coach I have ever worked with.

This is Phillip Porter from Georgia Southern University. Just played my last game and wanted to thank you for working with me. You turned my career around. This year I hit .365 with 11 HR and 51 RBI. Thanks.

Jeff and I worked together in Jupiter Florida in December 2010 and I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I am with this young professional. If I was asked to name a “Top Notch” hitting instructor in baseball today, it would be Jeff Albert. I watched as Jeff taught his craft and worked with over 65 players in the week we were together.
Jeff was able to break down the basics of hitting, from the simplest aspects to the most complex. Jeff was able to present and demonstrate in a manner in which all those he worked with were able to learn, take the information into action on the field, and show immediate success.
Jeff is always in the process of educating himself on the subject of hitting, and then making that knowledge available to all players through his instruction and training web site www.swingtraining.net If you want to be a hitter, www.swingtraining.net is the place to educate yourself, and if you are in the Southern Florida area and want one-on-one instruction, contact Jeff.

Jeff was not only a terrific teacher, working with each kid individually, but he also was able to show many of the players the concepts he was explaining through some high tech video analysis.
